CONDITIONS
QUEUE AND PAYMENT
Sadly I’m able to accept only a small amount of commission at once but I’ll notify you of an eventual queue and the approximated waiting time.
The payment is upfront, Paypal only, currency Euro (there are no transfer fee).
For big commissions I'll offer a split payment depending on the amount to try and make things easy for both you and me.
Once we agree on the commission details, I’ll send you a confirmation e-mail including Paypal details and as soon as I receive the payment I will start working on your piece. I generally wait 7 days for the payment, if I don’t receive it in those 7 days I’ll move your project to the bottom of the queue.
WORKFLOW
As a first step I will send you some rough sketches of the piece so we can start to visualize it together. Once you’ve picked the one you like the most I’m going to prepare a more refined sketch with a basic color layout: until this point you can request edits of the drawing. After this sketch is approved I will render it to final stage so... no more edits! ;)
The artwork will usually be completed within 2-3 weeks after the sketch approval, but if you need me to meet a certain deadline, let me know in advance so we can try to find a solution.
What you’ll get:
- - one digital illustration (there is no physical copy) in full resolution, A4 size, 300 dpi in .png/RGB format for screen use
- - one digital illustration .tiff/CMYK format for printing
- - one digital illustration in lower resolution ideal for social network sharing
The illustration will be signed but there will be no logos or watermarks. If you need advice for the printing, feel free to ask! I’m absolutely up for helping you sorting things out.
REFUNDS
Refunds are possible only in the following cases:
- - If you decide to cancel BEFORE I start working on your commission
- - If I cannot provide/finish the artwork for any reason
There are no refunds if you do not like the outcome so please keep in mind that I have my own style and it may or may not suit what you are looking for. My online galleries are indications of my style and actual skill level, check them out properly before commissioning me!
- REFERENCES
- For game character / fanart portraits I’ll need a couple screenshots, better if taken with good zoom and a couple different angles. For Original Characters is necessary an accurate description, and whatever image reference you can provide: art with your character, similar facial features photo, clothing and other examples: all these things are good to know so we can establish a feeling of who the character is.
- It’s also very helpful to know if you want a particular mood in your drawing or if you want to explore options together!
- OTHER
- - I may edit my price list any time, in that case the change will not affect the ongoing commissions but only the new ones.
- - I may change the price of a commission based on the amount of details or on particular needs you request but don’t worry, the price will always be agreed upon before and you’ll be free to cancel the request.
- - If you have a request that doesn’t seem fitting in the categories on the price list, ore even if you’re simply not sure what to look at, you can always contact me and I’ll gladly give you a custom quote.
- - By requesting a commission you are agreeing that you will only use the illustration for personal use and will not reproduce and/or distribute the material for anything other than personal use. If you need an artwork for commercial use, please contact me directly at maeeveart@gmail.com
- - I usually upload a low resolution version of the finished illustration on my portfolio website and/or social media but if you do not wish to have the illustration be publicly shared, please let me know in advance. (The painting process of the artwork could also be recorded / livestreamed)
